I always feel an urgency when writing about the eternal word of God. So many need to hear the truth; so few show any concern.

Over the years, I have heard it said by different preachers that the antichrist is due to appear on the world stage at any time. A man claiming to be Christ, and shall deceive vast multitudes. But then, at the appointed time, the Lord Jesus shall come and destroy him with the brightness of his coming. This is exactly what happens, but it’s not for the natural eye to see.

I’m sure you remember what a false Christ is. It’s a deceived spirit in an individual that claims to be the spirit of Christ. “And this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” (1 John 4:3) He, that old deceiver called the Devil and Satan was here in John’s day and he still deceives the world in our day. How sad to see.

But, he did not leave us without hope. When our Lord Jesus Christ opens our eyes by the Spirit of truth, we see the brightness of his coming, because the truth illuminates the darkness and the lies of Satan. Even reaching into the hidden mysteries of his word. (Read 2 Thessalonians 2:8 and 1 Corinthians 2:10.)

All we have to do to hear the antichrist speak is tune in to the TV preachers or go to your local church. Just some things to think about.
