False doctrine in written form
As I have said in the past, false doctrine is the same whether it is spoken or written. Either way, it corrupts the truth of the word. People who choose and read a perverted translation of the scripture and don’t know the difference, are the same ones who fill the false churches and never know that they are deceived.
King James Bible
For almost four hundred years the King James translation of the Bible served churches, schools, homes and businesses. But little by little, by not reading, not studying, not praying, mankind has drifted so far from the light of the truth that he is in almost total darkness. Since the light of understanding does not reach the hearts of worldly individuals, they have attempted to rewrite the holy scriptures into something which their earthly understanding can comprehend. Thus, we have a flood of so-called translations.
The Living Bible
All the confirming scriptures I used came from the King James Bible. Not one word was said about Paul being a helpless sinner. This teaching for sin comes from the father of sin. His name is deceiver, liar, prince of darkness, the beast, the antichrist, blasphemer, the god of this world. He put it in the words of a book and called it “The Living Bible.” But it is a broad, easy road to destruction. Beware, if you have an ear to hear the spirit of truth.
Try the spirits by the written word of God
How can we know for sure what to believe when we hear preachers and teachers offering us their version of doctrine? We must try them by the written word of God. We must seek out and accept only the words of Jesus and the twelve Apostles.
Confusion in doctrine
If all churches believe in one God, one savior, one gospel and one Holy Ghost, then why not one church? We know that the word of God says, if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And God is not the author of confusion.
Holding to manmade doctrine
They wanted to hold to the comfortable, easy to follow concept of manmade doctrine. When we are faced with the truth, it forces us to make a decision, either to accept it, or reject it, and too often people choose the latter. To despise the commandments is to despise Jesus.
The word of God is not weak
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)
Quick and powerful. Will accomplish all that is written. Piercing and separating of soul and spirit.
False doctrine and sin
If we don’t speak the word of God with boldness and confidence, who will heed the warning? “For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle? So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.” (1 Corinthians 14:8-9)
The word is God
There is much to be said about the word being God. Many people in religion circumvent the written word with feel good services, thinking that high emotions and a loud noise take the place of understanding in the Holy Ghost. Feelings of elation must be in agreement with the word; if not, they come from the spirit antichrist.
Bible commentaries and translations
Innumerable Bible commentaries have been written in an attempt to explain the mysteries of God’s word. And while the writers may have good intentions, it would be wise to carefully examine their opinions by the scripture, which is “given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16) “Because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1) And we would do well to remember that a false prophet doesn’t know he is deceived, and he is completely unaware that he is deceiving others.
Private interpretations of God’s word
Your “interpretation” or my “interpretation” has no place in the plan of God. But rather the interpretation of the holy word is established by the chosen writers of the New Testament, as revealed by the Holy Ghost.
Is it alright to follow false doctrine?
Churches began a steady descent away from the truth as soon as it was established. But a few who were truly anchored in Christ held firmly to the words of life and passed them on to others, by word of mouth and in written form. And the few that hear and understand God’s word are less with each passing generation, because not many are willing to carry the banner. They fear the wrath of worldly religion, letting modern day “Pharisees” dictate what they should believe.
Your interpretation of the bible
Is the truth of God’s word subject to your interpretation of the Bible ? Do you try to shape the gospel of Christ so that it falls in line with your personal beliefs and church doctrine? Is it acceptable with Christ our Lord, to have many conflicting interpretations of his word?
As it is written
Then how can we recognize a false minister? We take the word of God to heart, “as if is written,” which says to all that look for truth and understanding. “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1) These are the ministers of Satan, and John says they are many. The spirit within a false prophet can only speak with carnal understanding.
Perfect harmony
So, l guess that the orchestra players could use the same defense for the confusing disharmony. “Oh, it doesn’t matter, we’re all professional musicians.” Only the master teacher can clear up the confusion, but only if the people pay attention to his words.
