“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)

“If man had never sinned, would our flesh still die?” That’s a good question and I can help you understand. God has a purpose in all that is done and will be done. “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.” (Colossians 1:16)

Before the earth was made, God, who is from everlasting to everlasting, had a complete plan for his creation. Nothing happens at random, and nothing takes him by surprise; he planned it all. This means both good and evil. The downfall of Adam and Eve was part of that plan, but remember, they were given a way of escape. They moved from the state of being unaware of the plan of God, to being fully aware. From bliss to comprehension of good and evil.

The spirit is eternal, the flesh was never created to be. The flesh of man without the knowledge of God was not created to be eternal, “But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption.” (2 Peter 2:12)

A natural brute beast lives for the moment. He knows nothing of love, mercy and obedience. He knows nothing of God. But, in the day that he eats of the knowledge of good and evil, he becomes accountable for his actions and words.

Let us be thankful that the Lord has made of way of escape for us. “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.” (2 Timothy 1:9)

You know me well enough to know that I would never try to boast about what I understand of the kingdom of God, because I am nothing; God is everything. I did not earn it and I did not deserve it. He gave me understanding because it pleased him to do so, and for my wellbeing, and that I might show others the light of the gospel. To be rejected by friends and family is very difficult mentally. Knowing that I offer them the same teaching that Jesus spoke and seeing them turn away troubles me greatly.

Let’s consider judgment and what it means. For religious people without the spirit of truth, it’s a convenient pillar to hide behind and point their finger at the few who stand on the word of God, saying, “you have no right to judge; only God knows what’s in my heart.”

I do not judge others, the word of God does. I only repeat the judgment of Jesus. But this judgment is not seen and understood until it is revealed by the Holy Ghost. “Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts.” (1 Corinthians 4:5)

“Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?” (1 Corinthians 6:3) Angels are ministering spirits sent into the world to do God’s bidding. The saints of God know which spirits are good and which are evil, thereby judging them. And the hearts of men are made known, laid bare by the word of God. I judge nothing myself but I see clearly the judgment of God. If his judgment offends them that hear it, I know what’s in their heart. If the Holy Ghost (spirit of truth) were there, they wouldn’t be offended with God’s word.

If we lacked the ability from God to judge right from wrong, how would we know where we stand? When a person speaks contrary to the word of God and I point out what the scripture says, why am I accused of judging others?

Being able to make a righteous judgment from the word of God is a gift of the Holy Ghost. One definition of the word “judge” is, “a person qualified to decide on the relative worth of anything.” Another definition is, “to form an opinion about.”

Many in religion lack the ability to discern between right and wrong as set forth by the gospel. A good example of this is the church you were attending when we started writing. They see nothing wrong with The Living Bible. They lack judgment. If they are unable to discern evil in book form, neither will they know when Satan stands before them in a suit and tie preaching false doctrine.

The only judgment which is acceptable is the judgment of God. Remember, the word is God, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

Now let me show you something that religion misses. Before we can have eternal life, we must be judged as Jesus said, by “these same words that I have spoken.” “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” (2 Corinthians 5:10)

Jesus said, “For Judgment I am come into this world.” (John 9:39) “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.” (John 5:22)

The great judgment day that so many imagine to be somewhere in the future, is today! It is an ongoing process which began when Jesus sealed his testimony with his death, and it will continue until the last individual upon this earth is judged by “these same words that I have spoken.”

Every person must pass through the judgment of the word of God, while in the flesh. Millions go down in death, castaway into outer darkness, expecting and hoping for something more, their imaginary judgment, another chance. But when an individual is cut off from the word of God, time is no more. All hope is gone. Eons pile upon eons, no sound, no sight, no refreshing breeze, nothing. Nothing is nothing.

This touches lightly on God’s great judgment. The revelation of the word of God removes it from the future and fulfills it today! Can you see the mighty word of God and how all things both good and evil are judged by it? It must never be taken lightly.
