Consider this, multitudes, nations, and races rise and fall. Some such as the Roman empire grow stagnant and dry up. Some mighty armies such as Hitler commanded, leave great destruction in their wake. The ebb and flow of mankind is in constant motion like the restless sea, and the flesh of man is forever bound by the natural order of things. But the children of God, born of the spirit, liveth and abideth forever. (1 Peter 1:23)
John the apostle had a clear understanding of the things he wrote about in the book of Revelation. The seven thunders in verse four are the seven spirits of God. The things that John heard were the revelations of God’s word. He was commanded to seal up those things (shrouded in the spirit) and write them not (the explanation of those things). The whole book of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ and his glory. His full glory remains hidden until the Holy Ghost opens the seals. The prophet Daniel answered this well when he said, “And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.” (Daniel 12:8-9)
So it is with the things that John wrote; they are sealed until the end time. The end time being when you see the mystery of God’s word revealed by the spirit of Christ. When you see that Jesus is the conqueror of death, that he is the resurrection, and that he is the judge on the great white throne of judgment. He is the avenger and he is the savior, today!
These things remain in the future until your eyes of understanding are opened. When you see and understand, the end has come. I don’t want to trouble you too much at this time but think about what I have told you about the coming of Jesus. (I come in the volume of the book. I come as a thief in the night. And he will appear a second time to them that look for him.) When we pass through the door of God’s kingdom, all things are eternal; time shall be no more. Jesus is that door, today!
You are not receiving understanding only because of me because I have offered the words of Jesus and the apostles to many others, but few have ears to hear what the spirit sayeth. If our Lord had not chosen you to receive these things, they would remain sealed forever. But here is a very sobering thought I want to leave with you. Mount Zion is God’s holy mountain. This high ground of the soul is given to his elect and no unclean thing can stand on this holy ground. The Lord has bid you, come up here and I will show you things that are hidden from the world. We cannot approach almighty God in a half-hearted manner as most in religion do.
