What is true repentance?
True repentance must come from the heart and requires both being sorry for our sins and actively turning away from them.
What is that wicked that will be revealed?
“And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” (1 John 4:3)
Is water baptism needed?
Water baptism is an outward act performed by man to show reverence to God. Baptism of the spirit can only come from Jesus and is the only baptism that truly saves a person.

The prodigal son is a parable that contrasts the behaviors of two brothers and shows how both brothers needed forgiveness.
Few are chosen?
Many people read or hear God’s word and it “calls” to them. Those who heed the call and turn from sin are “chosen.” Those who ignore the call and turn back to worldly things disqualify themselves from being “chosen.”
Our conscience is our guide
Our conscience knows things about us that we can hide from others but we cannot hide them from God. Keeping the word of God will give us a clear conscience. If it is not clear, it’s because we know in our heart that we are not keeping his word.
Are God’s standards too high?
People who complain about God’s standards are attempting to justify their own desires and blame him for their suffering.
What must we do to follow the Lord?
To follow Jesus, you must repent sincerely from your heart, be baptized in the name of Jesus, believe the gospel, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
