Where does a sinner go when he or she dies? “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” (Ezekiel 18:4). “For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5)
Where were we ten million years ago? Ten billion? We simply did not exist. For us, there was no earth, no universe, no spirit, nothing. God brought us into being as it pleased him.
Where will we be ten million years from now, if we die a sinner? Back into oblivion, the condition of being completely forgotten, throughout the endless ages of eternity. This short span of time on this earth will never be remembered, the dead know not anything.
No refreshing breezes, no birds singing, no friends or family. No awareness of anything. Eternal darkness, emptiness, never again hearing the voice of God speak to them. Eons come and go, but the dead know not anything. Forever and ever, death without end. Void. Erased forever from God’s presence.
When I caution you that we must obey all that we learn, it is not in reference to anything I have heard or seen of you. It is only to refresh your memory and not let things creep in unaware. To serve God daily, whether alone with your conscience or in a group of people. Always standing firmly in the word of God.
The word of God is quick and powerful, and the way to life is straight and narrow. Nothing outside the word will be allowed.
Let me suggest that you read these verses to get an idea of how straight the truth is. Think about how many people you know who don’t keep these words.
James 3:17
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”

“Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.”
Matthew 7:14
“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
There is no need for us to judge one another. We should judge ourselves, applying the scripture to our own lives. Always realizing that we stand transparent before God. Always seeking to do that which is acceptable in our daily walk in the flesh.
“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” (2 Timothy 3:2-5)
At first, you might think these verses are speaking to admitted sinners, but notice verse five, “having a form of godliness.” This is describing many in religion today. Having a form, a religious ceremony but denying the power thereof. They deny the gospel by only keeping select portions while ignoring others. The gospel is the power. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16)
When you pray, mention my name before the Lord, that he will strengthen me and allow me to establish his gospel in the hearts of others. It is my duty and by his grace I can do all things.
